Description

Another deviation from pin-ups... I just love how this portrait came out so had to post it on here. Taken Sunday, March 26 at the one and only original Disneyland, California. Character is Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast'. I've found a new exciting way of going back to the park over and over, character hunting. It's been a great lot of fun, and I've gotten to 'know' the characters and they recognize me now. Granted, at times the characters may be different (shhh, gotta preserve the magic!) many of them still know who I am now since I stop and take photos for a while and chat with them. In this instance, this is the same Belle that I photographed three posts ago. This was on a different day and with my airshow lens (100-400mm... overkill? Nahhhh!). The way she's facing and the beautiful background blur really makes the image IMO. I love it so much, one of my favorite Disneyland portraits yet! An no photoshop blur post work. That shallow depth of field is because of the F9 aperature I shot on purpose. Image shot with a Canon EOS 5D (12mp), Canon 100-400mm USM IS F4.5L Lens, and Canon 580EX Speedlight Flash.

Another fine reason to why i wanna go to Disneyland. If their employees look like that, then i dont imagine they ever going out of business. Gorgeous woman, perfect smile, captured so beautifully. Well done indeed. Have a great day. #:O)
