Description

Shoot Info - Shot Wednesday, Mar 15, 2006. The goal was to recreate World War 2 era (1940s) pin-ups and Military Aircraft nose-art of the time as best as possible with limited resources. The shoot was shot with a High Key backlight and purposly trying to make the models look more washed out for an artistic painted mimic. Model - Catherine Allen. She's expierienced in Pin-Up photography, which made for some great ideas on the spot! A lot of fun to work with! Photo Notes - Another pose that was very famous in the 1940s: one leg outstretched, one leg bent close, head buried behind the bent leg, and hand resting on knee. It turned out very nice, has the 1940s feel to it! Photo Details - Taken with a Canon Rebel EOS 5D (12mp) and Canon 28-105mm USM lens. Shot at a studio where I work in Anaheim, CA.
