Description

Finally got around to making a pic in Vue5Infinite. I'm not too happy with it, mainly because the Ecosystem kept giving me a headache. It would't let me populate a terrain once I cleared it - kept saying "0 instances" even if I was using the same settings as before. So I left it. And I don't like the fact Vue5Infinite seems to have increased its hunger for memory...I thought the whole point of the new features such as the Ecosystem was to REDUCE memory useage while increasing creativity. I modelled all the props, buildings in Lightwave 8.5 Cheers

About populating: check in the density tab if Decay near foreign object is checked. If so, it means your eco won't polulate near any object of your scene, by 5% by default, which may be why you had no polulation at all.

Good to see you around still. Maybe the issue with your ecosystem was that you integrated a new object that made it impossible to populate. You should look and deselect the decay thingie in density maybe.

Thanks for the comments folks, and the tips. Admittedly I've spent more time in Lightwave than Vue atm.

You're weren't too happy with it?! Hell, I'd be clickin' my heels for joy to have been able to create such a perfectly believable and realistic scene! Phenomenal lighting here, love the composition as well. Holy. Wow.
