- this was supposed to be my entry for the March challenge, but for some reason it didn't make it, maybe I've read the time (clock) wrong :)
Well, so I'll post it here instead. I've made a similar scene with Vue 4 some time ago, where the moss ground cover was made with "layered polygon terrains". Though it looked quite convincing, a detailed ecosystem in Vue 5 Infinte works much, much better IMHO.
There is a lot of mushrooms here, but occasionally this can be seen "for real".
Vue5I, Onyxtree, Bantam3D "Grass, XFrog (some of the mushrooms) & Photoshop. All models & textures by me.
Some 1.900 mio polys, rendered in 1.5 hrs in "Broadcast", 1600x1200 original render.
