It was a surprise to see how quickly this one came together, from start to finish on Saturday afternoon! Thought-provoking again, portraying a tiny but nonetheless important contributor going about its business just as we ourselves do. It's just occurred to me how those urban skyscrapers resemble fence posts at much closer quarters; a touch of ambiguity in another nicely restrained piece. Gotta love this new style (substyle?) you're working in as of late! Thank you so much again hugest hugs :-D

Delicate, thought provoking & quite poignant too! I love your technique in this one Cass ; )

From warm golds and reds to steel blues... what a lonely little ant he must be, venturing out all on his lonesome. But also how brave, and he always has his shadow/reflection with him, even though he can't always see it. ;) hugs As Bev says, this one makes you think.

Like your little ant we all have our barriers and hills to climb, I just wonder if we ever reach the top. love the format of this makes the struggle seam even more drawn out. Nice one Cassie very thought provoking.

Poignant in its effect on me but once bitten twice shy, I just like it ;-)

I like the format of this gouache, the smoothness and delicacy in the execution, different and very beautiful it remind me Folon in a way...
