Description

Aloooooooha! One last parting shot from this coast line before I move on to something else. This one was shot with a 0.8 shutter, @ F22 for a different look. I always try to experiment with different settings just to see what I might get...it's all part of the learning process that keeps it fresh. There's been a disturbance in the force lately on this site, very sad news, but I hope that we can all pull together and salvage what we all have worked for, a peaceful co-exsistence. I still believe this is one of the friendliest places around, and I for one hope it stays that way...Hang in there everyone! Thank you for all your kind comments on my previous posts, and hope this week is a better one for us all! Aloha!

Love the soft soft waves...and what you said....Like lots of water droplets,that all come together and create something powerful...it can be beautiful or destructive....let's hope the collective 'wave' is made up of more people like you....lovely upload Dave.Mahalo and aloha.-M :^)

Well said my hawaiian friend. I too love this place and the people in it. I think the best we can do is to hold our heads up high and keep having fun. Then eventually i think this will all be forgotten and they can come back and join the party once theyre good and ready. Did i say this is a killer-shot btw? Nah....guess i dont have to say that every time...goes without saying ya know. Theres a reason youre one of my fav-artists and its not only cause youre such a stand-up guy but also cause youre so freaking amazing with a camera. Have a wonderful day, hope youre feeling better each day. #:O)

Awesome coastline, maybe I will see it for real next summer, for our honeymoon! In the meantime, these photos are as awesome as the real thing. Can't wait to be there . . .

Well, it seems I too have missed the "disturbance" whatever it is, but we are having "fun" enough in the UF Mailing List at the moment. Love the picture: the splash becomes gentleness. I like too the "framing." Is the effect artificial or did you hang the picture on the wall before photographing?

You have such a beautiful state that you call home. I may never get there myself, but through your eyes... I'm seeing paradise. {{VOTE}}

Love your experimentation. It worked out well for this shot...the waves are silky smooth yet still have detail. May the force be with you young padwan...
