Description

Some years ago, my wife and I visited Chaco Canyon in northwestern New Mexico. The place left an indelible impression upon us. This picture isn't Chaco, but it inspires much of the same kind of mood and sense of place. Would love to go back. Credits: Houses: Clay Houses modeled and textured by ETDA (Gail and Kelly) (3dCommune). Ruins: modeled by Ed Baumgarten. Terrain: modeled by me in Bryce 5.5 with texture by Jonathan Allen. Trees: Originally four 3D "Dream Trees" models by Dreampaint converted to 2D alpha planes by me. Sky: by me. Figures: DAZ Michael3 and Victoria3. Thanks for stopping by. Helpful or encouraging comments are appreciated. Jeremy

There are six figures in the picture. Two are walking away from the buildings toward the foreground, one is sitting in the "courtyard" area. Another is sitting by his doorway and the last has two sitting figures near the doorway.

I like this one very much. It captures the feeling of the southwest nicely and your ground work is perfect!

Very barren Place, but its got style, some of the shadows are quite harsh but that adds to the mood
