Captured as we were about to board a raft for a drift down the Li River, near Yangshuo, China, on a cold January day.

This is a wonderful composition! That zig zag path leading back towards that tree just draws you right into the picture like a magnet! Superb!

looks a mite 'bumpy' on the Li that day... cool shot! I like the flags up top, the whole tree, and the mtns behind too. I might have tried to get rid of the flags, but I can see it wouldn't be a trivial task.

Deceptive! You wouldn't go far without getting wet feet. The pole links nicely with the angle of the tree. It is a fine picture.
