Description

High School's really been keeping me busy and I've barely had time to make anything new since I turned 18! So I began this mattepainting so I wouldn't forget everything I've learned... and to try out some new techniques. I just wanted to create paradise... the place you always dream of going to. And as photorealistic as possible though still with a touch of fantasy. Comments and critism is very welcome :) I hope you like it! You have really accomplished your goal with this one Thomas, it is very much an inviting paradise! Small crit; the waterfalls on the left seem a bit too bright white in areas that would be in shadow. A little graying work could really add realism there. Even so, it is a delight to sit and look at (which I have done for quite a while here tonight). Your work is very much missed by us all when you are away. :-)
