Description

Hi all :) I'm back after a way too long break! I've been working a lot with matte-painting and design lately so I though it was time to try something else. I stumbled upon a speedpainting challenge last friday, where you are to paint a snowy landscape so I thought I'd give it a go. After a couple of hours painting and looking into the deepest depths of my memory to remember something from my last skiingtrips to Austria and Switzerland, this is what I came up with. All painted in Photoshop CS - no photoreference. No lets see how this contest goes... fingers crossed :) Comments and critiscm is very welcome. www.thomaskrahn.com Best, Thomas Ohh... and if you'd like to hear some of the new music I've made and recorded, please go and check out my website :) Thanks!

Very nice. I especially like the looseness of it, showing the technique of the brush strokes used to create.
