Description

Returned with the boat in Harlingen, my cousin Herman (on the left), the captain, poses with his friend on his boat. It has been an unforgettable day. For those who want to meet the family when contacts have diminished over the years, I can recommend a boat-trip like this with each other (when there's not to much wind and waves of course), since it is a perfect opportunity to meet each other. You must have had a wonderful holiday! I've always been interested in the Wadden Islands. They're part of the Netherlands, and yet they're "over there". The closest I ever got to them was the river IJ in Amsterdam. Great picture!

Glad you had a wonderful time on the boat trip. We once hired a boat for a weekend; the boat was just lying there in Brugge and we didn't go anywhere haha, but still it had such a special and pleasant atmosphere... You have a wonderful family, JC. Great shot!
