Description
There's something charming and quaint about small country cemeteries. In these parts, it seems there's a small cemetery tucked down nearly every country road you drive down. They probably can't compare with the opulence of ones in the big city, or the sheer magnificence of the history in Europe where the gravestones are older than our very country. But the tiny little cemetery tucked in the woods has its own history of the surrounding area, the people who lived there and the lives that they lived. It's a sweet experience to wander amongst the graves and look at the remembrances that their loved ones have left behind in honor of the ones they loved. These small tokens speak volumes about the lives that were lived and the love of those who left them.
This small cemetery is just one of those tucked away along a road that not many would notice, way out in the boondocks fifty miles from nowhere and just a little ways down from Bugscuffle Road. (yes, really!) I found so many sweet little tokens that I had to divide them up into two montage images. You would get bored with seeing one every day for a month. So this is the first of two montage images. My own special angel is among these here.

Thanks for sharing. We have so many of these small and neglected cemeteries in our area. It is most interesting to wander through them.

It is gorgeous to perceive the language spoken on cemetaries where loved ones had to be left alone! Gorgeous collage, very beautiful work!
