Description

Yet again, a picture from a ski-trip in the mountains above Eresfjord, a small farming-community on the west-coast of Norway. This was shot from the exact same spot as my previous picture - I've just turned 180 degrees - looking over the edge of the ridge we have just reached. I'm looking towards another region that is filled with plenty of beautiful mountains. This region is called Trollheimen (which translates as Home of the Trolls...). The highest peak on the right, where the summit forms a pyramid of shadow, is called Dronninga (The Queen), right of that is an equally high but much broader peak with lots of prominent ribs facing us. That is Kongen (The King). Between me and those mountains yet another fjord cuts through the landscape - it is completely hidden behind the closest row of mountains, but it actually continues inland further than the right edge of this picture.

The white balance in a snow capture is quite tricky and you make it perfect always. This is one impressive work !

land of the Vikings. so cold looking. Bad lands where people have to be strong. Home of the Trolls. I read some about the trolls here. Most likely just some strong people that lived here. very good photo
