sentience -- noir by ZOT Created: 10_11-April-2006 Created with: Poser 6, Vue 5 Esprit (rendered in, no postwork). ================================= Items used: S.F.C.S (Sci-fi Construction Set) by Davorama ================================= About: ------- (BTW, I wondered about posting this into the Poser gallery or here. - It's kinda both. - It's a bit of a toss up between Poser and VUE overall useage. This is an empty scene, although still mainly made with a product that was used in Poser, but lit and rendered in Vue. ;-) -- I dunno about other people but I like to sometimes explore a scene after I've made the 'final' render just to see what else might come to life. This pic is the same scene as my "sentience can be a bitch" image (which can be found in my Renderosity gallery) but it's seen from the opposite viewpoint almost around the corner looking back into the main scene. In this scene I've removed the robot and cardboard box to have an empty scene. This image to me has quite a 'noir-like' feel to it and has a mixture of other feels to it as well......prison-like, a sense of enlightenment in a dark place of perhaps a small location to find solace, but it also has a uneasy veiled brooding malevolent feel to it as if something bad is about to happen. There's a slight error in this scene design because one of the lights is flashing onto a bit of the scenery (upper centre) but instead of fixing it I decided to leave it in because it gave some sort of odd fill-in of light just there in the scene. - Besides, I want to put this thing to bed (and me too because it's 5am!), so now that it's done, it's done. The stage is set, the lights are on, but have the players come or gone? Will there be peace, a place to wonder, or will they be torn asunder? Good night. :-) Z.
