Description

At Pryomanic '06 the local collage builded this dragon to set on fire. I just find out yesterday they used around 1500 pounds of clay to build the dragon. Here you see him in a fallen state and his body is burning. They had hay and wire under the clay. ************************** Fire to me is a liveing thing - it breaths, it eats or consumes, it waste, it multiplies or grows, and desires. by Damon mc Gergor ***************************** I see a lot of people adds what others say , which is fine and super. So I doing the same; but I know this person. So I hope you all don't mind a little wisdom from this person too. I posted a photo yesterday and I know some of the photo[top] looks like it out of forus. I took photos all day Sunday like that and did not know about it intill that night when I downloaded on my computor. Saturday night is when I shot the red hot metal up close and my lens fog up. It must have gotten dirt on the lens when it fog up and ashes was in the air too from the blacksmiths. I did clean my lens and it is ok. It did not melt. I got many photos like that but will post them anyway and I will tell you about the dirty lens again when I post them. This was taken on Saturday night before I took the hot metal close up so the lens is not dirty. Thanks for looking and comments and votes

There is something strangely symbolic about a dragon burning. Really fascinating shot and ritual, great conceptual art.

Too bad the fire-prducing dragon is consumed by the fire! To eat or to be eaten, the eternal natural cycle applies even here!
