Description
I do not care to take pictures of this devastation after all of this time. Katrina happened August 29, 2005, I took these photos today April 14 2006. We still have many many people living in tents this is almost 8 months since the hurricane. There are fields with literally hundreds and hundreds of FEMA trailers, but they only distribute about two a week the excuses are everything from toilets not working in them, too they do not have the keys. Also many people who have been living in trailers and have repaired their houses and are back living in them can not get FEMA to remove the trailers and let someone else had them.

It is a sad turn of events when such people do not realize how safe they are because of the various security measures passed by this administration, with the full and eager cooperation of the opposition, who STOOD up against Saddam Hussein and his threats against the UNITED STATES, and partciualrly, his threat to invade Louisiana! This tent, humble as it may be, will not be prey to the type of attack that was made on New York City! Not only that but a whole police force of Federal, State, and local officers will descend upon the area should anyone try to swim NUDE on the nearby beaches. And George Bush, praise GOD, has also kept all the elephants away!

So very sad that we have this going on in the USA. These are are own people and they need help and there is no reason it should be like this and it is worse because of all the months that have gone by.

Well since its more of a social commentary shot... The caption sounds like another good example of our tax dollars at work and another reason not to depend on the government to solve our problems.
