------------- SGL at Silverhaven
In every great venture company's time, there is a pivotal moment when they come together and prove their greatness, or fail miserably and collapse. Despite earlier trials that really proved no more than an inconvenience, it can be said that the SGL was not truly tested until that fateful Mantari's eve in 18562 when they pushed back into Old Calladon again to rescue the abductees from the Syvasgaard raid. They knew what they faced and face it they did, in a few brief moments of horror and destruction, they took down the entire defending force of the Lair of the Elder Eye and destroyed the ancient monster himself.
They did not do so without paying a price. Brandon and Meriadne were felled by a fireball so intense it melted solid rock. Sahla was turned to stone and fell from the sky, smashing into a dozen pieces on the rocky cavern floor. The others did not return without scars to show for it. Two new members were rescued on that raid, or rather, the SGL assault on the east gate gave them the distraction they needed to escape. But after raising Brandon and Meriadne from the dead and taking Sahla's head to New Phoenix so that he might be resurrected by the High Priestess of the Isis, they spent a few weeks of well deserved recuperation enjoying the hospitality of Ambassador Kheldar at Castle Silverhaven.
This photo was taken 9 Delsept 18562, while Sahla was still recuperating from being Resurrected. From the top, clockwise around the room are; Sahla al'Nuftep, Dove Moondown, Kaylynn Dramishdotir, Malikai Grayves, Shael Vhorganvaen, Vhaeren S'rrothimor (fore), Serenity, Brandon Summerville, Mythos Soristomil (fore), Fallon Bree Shanahan, Meriadne Kelowitz, Opal Honglathor, Prince Nicholas Cosmescu, and Princess Irinia Cosmescu. Emma Beni-Isis and Errienne McLeod retained their ownership of the Midnight Rose venture company and started to use it as a cover for the SGL, but did not officially join their ranks. At the time this was taken, they still had not found Nadril Tir'anel, who had wandered off in a feral state in one of his animal forms,... they figured he'd come back when he wanted to.

Fantastic composition. Great characters and poses. Now I understand why we didn't see any image from you for a while. Looks like the place where heroes and heroines meet... I suppose you'll never see me there. 8-) Excellent and vote.

I love it! The character interaction is great. Hehe, I'm wondering what the little shadow dragon quipped to get both Vhaeren and Shael looking at him. I also like that all three of the drow-type women in the group all have very different looks and colors. And I'm interested in the card reading Irinia's doing! Malikai is standing there being Mr. Sexy Pants in the back. Hawt! (reposted to fix a typo)
