There are dark places we all go. Life brings them on us. Death brings them out of us. Hatred feeds them. Loss nourishes them. Powerlessness makes them grow. Dark places are alive. They feed. They can move of their own free will from one person to another. They drive us and watch us and in the end,... they kill us.
