Description

I was going through my closet during spring cleaning, and I happened across a very old nintendo game cartridge. I smiled and had a fond memory of those days when cartridges were around. Then I pondered the difference between optical discs and cartridges. It turns out that there are many differences between the two. Optical disks are like books for machines. Cartridges are like narcotics for machines. In one instance, things are read, copied, written, processed--the optical disk. In the other instance, things are integrated, the whole and the unit become one, dependency insues--the cartridge functions at a different machine level than the optical disk. When androids become the norm (if they do). How will they relax? How will they get away from their problems, from their task masters? What does a narcotic look like for an android, or a cyborg for that matter? I propose this concept as the design for a new cybernetic narctoic. A vacation, a memory, a far away planet, all stored in the new capsule--the one that traps light on for you to consume. Thank you for reading and looking! Have a wonderful weekend! 3D Studio Max | finalRender-Stage1 | Photoshop

Wow. The thumb captured my attention -- your lighting is top-notch! Parts of it seem to be illuminated from the inside; is that what you did? I'd love to see the wireframe, I bet it would make my head spin! Great work!

Nice artwork and certainly lots to think about in the thoughtful intro text too.
