Description

Today is a special day, it's the day as tribute to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the very center of the Christian faith! And what is more appropriate on this day than a flower that announces new life, like this coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) that blooms here in the Hasbruch forest (I shot this with only limited macro capabilities back in 1992, so I needed to crop it dramatically causing the blur)? It's a flower just like a crocus blooming right after the moment the snow is melted. Springtime, the resurrection of life, is for me God's signature in nature! ~~~ Happy Easter to you all! ~~~ Minolta X-700 (Agfa 100 CTi, 70 mm and cropped) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Here in Sweden they are called only Tussilago actually. And its the first real sign of spring....and right now its still buried beneath 2 feet of snow.....SIIIIIIGH! LOL. Hope you had a wonderful Easter!!! #:O)
