a great photograph. what a story this image tells. thats what a great photo does..for me anyway. it makes me wonder, ask questions about the picture....sets a mood. this is a great shot.

It is a great shot. The richness of the sky makes me think it's almost infra red. Maybe a red filter? The slightly off B&W adds to the feel.

No, it was shot in colour and later converted to b&w using channel mixer in photoshop.
