Description

This is my humble tribute to DARTH VADER... The Lord has been found by me at sci fi net, it's the mesh done by Martin Garnier (3ds and MAX formats). Then I imported that into Poser 6 and rigged, after a fashion (ie lightwave modeler manipulation) The SSD were found the same way, the model is by Ansel Hsiao. The SSD was done by bumpmaps by me, on an old mesh by Dr. Chang. In Italy, were I live, the Lord was named Dart Fener, and I discovered to my amusement that in France too has been named not DV, but; Dark Vador. Please if there is any other foreign name to the Lord, let me know on the comments !!!!

I could see the ships neeading a bit more detail, but it looks like Lucas Films could have used something like this for EP 3 or 6.

TO cujoe da man: Indeed, I am not quite satisfied with the Star Destroyer AND the Super Star Destroyer level of detail in the render, so I am working to a new refurbishment to the SSD, adding more detail and creating a more close to the real model - I made some collage maps from real photos of the SSD model found at starshipmodeler.com. I will also substitute the "normal" Star Destroyer with another one more detailed. To Quiter: Stay tuned at lucasfilms site, they plan to do a Star Wars TV series....!!!! Thank to everyone that has seen and commented this page !
