This is a late afternoon capture of some yellow flowers that were being lit up by the setting sun while the rest of the garden was falling into shadow. I liked the strong contrast so took some photos. On my computer at work I could still see some background details but as I am about to upload it hear at home, it appear that most of the background has turned black. So I am not sure what you are going to see, but either way you will get an image with strong contrasts. ;^] ----- Thank you for your wonderland comments on my last gallery image, The Town of Unreality - Population YOU.

Hi Kortalouche.Lovely Haiku.But then,we've had a bit of practice as of late,lol.I looked at this on my lappy,(that I just can't get right,lol)it's either too dark or too light.And on lappy I only saw the flowers.However,on my Vaio,I see all kinds of things in the background;leaves,stalks,shadows,etc.Both look wonderful,with lappy's looking very minimalistic...and this one having much more dramatic lighting.Either way,it's beautiful.The light is so lovely!And what a wonderful clear yellow.An excellent upload.Hope you are enjoying your weekend.All my best-M :^)

Yep--different screens tell many different stories. How about: "One bloom wrought in gold/ Gleaming bright and luminous/ Husbands evening sun", keeping the basic scheme and imagery, but exploiting the assonance of bloom-gleam-luminous, adding to it one-sun-husbands, and exploiting "husband" in its sense of treasuring and nurturing what is scarce and in short supply?
