Description

While I was out walking around the park last fall, I keep hearing rustling in the leaves near by and this high pitches mooing sound. I stopped, looked around and saw nothing. a few minutes later, I hear the same thing all over again. Out of the corner of my eye, i could see something sitting on the log. I slowly lifted my camera up and slowly turned. I managed to get one picture before this creature saw me looking and took off. When i showed the picture to a friend, he laught and said it was a Texas-longhorned squirrel. They're not too common in New Mexico, but fairly common in western Texas. They're related to the Jackalopes we have here. Y'all have a terrific Sunday....that reminds me..I have to go to church to have a couple of sins forgiven..

Besides being great at "playing GOD", you have a great sense if humor. I love your little stories that go with your work. Did you invent the Jackalope too? Nah, just kidding. Aloha
