Description

1 Thessalonins 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangle, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: No Jesus did not come back in the clouds yet; that in the next verse. But I came across this old grave broken and all. No marker on it so I do not know the name of the person. It look so sad not been keep up and some one throw a beer can in it. I do not know how this person lived his/her live. So I sit here thinking when Jesus comes back will and the dead in Christ rise first will the graves look like this one or the top of the grave be blown clean off? Just something I was thinking about.

Tossing a beer can on a grave is pretty freakin' cold and disrespectful. Bad karma will pay back, one day. I hope you removed the beer can. Thats good karma!

oh the grave is in the same graveyard as the "skull eating tree" You note that the grave yard was well keep up in most places

Okay Jock...step OUT of the graveyard! lol q-: Thanks for the Sunday words. I don't think the person in the grave would be bothered by the beer can, other than wishing it had been full and he/she could drink it. V (:

Now I have been thinking of how Jesus spoke to the dumb demoniac and Legion and cured them because he was the Word. I wondered how that reconciles with "If the eye is sound the whole body is sound." ??? Can we cure with images now in the light with the word gone?

The meek and the poor will probably be the first to enter Heaven..so the soul in that grave is probably very happy looking down at all of us.

The unthinkable moment of graves opened, maybe something like Jesus' death where saints appeared to many in Jerusalem. Gorgeous work, something hopeful to keep in mind!

not religious by any means but I would think only the souls would go, not needing broken bodies anymore

Nature makes messes like no other... overwhelming and dresses it all up with beauty, cycling through. Those bricks are just man trying to delay the inevitable.

I would just see a pile of bricks, your excellent eye sees the Word. Way to go.

Around here there are a lot of private cemeteries with from one to maybe four or six people buried in them. In the last two or three hundred years the world has developed around them, there's one across the street from Walmarts right in the parking lot of a combination Taco Bell/KFC place. If I ever end up in one of these you all have my permission to dig me up and move me somewhere of your choosing. Unmarked and unattended graves seem very shot, perhaps the spirit has departed and really doesn't care anymore.

A dead body is just like an empty can. The bubbly essence has already left. In a way it was fitting to see the can in the grave. I may have a 6 foot aluminum can as my grave marker, inscribed with the can tasted good when it was around but is now empty. ~~~~~~~~~~ Do you really feel that all these Christian zombies are going to break out of their graves with an exclusive pass to get into heaven? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I gave it a "Hmmm" rating 'cause I wasn't sure of what it was unless I read the description. If you had said it was the foundation of an old building that would of made as much sence.

The flesh of the body is only a temporary vehicle for earthly experience. The true essence of a being continues.
