Description

An older one I never posted here because I didn't like the atmosphere. Since I'm now starting a surface study experiment, I thought I would share and get your thoughts, as this was meant as a surface study. Thanks to Mayday for the wonderful overlay and terrain. and t4v Sacha

Well executed surface study although I think perhaps some patchier yellow/brown grass would fit in better than this bright green. I can't see why you didn't like the atmos btw, it looks fine to me and a nice crisp render too.

I've still not managed to do that overlay and have it look like this, so no comments from me on that end other than you did a superb job of it. Lovely POV and beautiful mountains.

Agree with Steve, a perfect transition between vegetation and sand.

excellent transition between sand and grass... and sand and rocks... maybe the snow and white sky fits not perfectly... my idea (what may i do with this world), more bump on the rocks, more layers on the rocks, the camera lookin'up to include all lands (photography rules) and a deep blue sky may capture your eyes... btw, good work

OK mayday said it all. ;-) The sand maybe looks a bit large in scale comparedto the rocks. Just my impression. Apart of that the sand is not bad at all!!

This is very good, but you asked and thou shall receive. The sand overlay looks like the shadow is on the wrong side, Look at the direction the sun is shining from and the way the sand overlay is turned,........ SORRY, Just my opinion!!!
