Ok, this is another one from last year. Not the best of shots but i think it looks pretty funny ;)
The species shown is a Dance Fly (also known as Balloon Flies, Empids or Dagger Flies) Empis tesselata :
The males often dance in small groups, each holding a prey. Should a female pass by, the males offer
her their prey. She chooses the best looking prey and the couple disappears into the bushes.
While copulating the female Empid sucks dry the prey offered by the male.

That's disgusting!!! ; ) Well the male sure has upper body strength!! (Though his biceps aren't exactly "Rippling") I was going to say it was a 3-way, but the third bug is not alive, and certainly not a willing participant! Sluuurrp! Fantastic capture!!!
