This is a change of pace for you -- a GOOD one. It almost looks like bamboo! Very cool shot. I'm growing some in my garden...will have to give it a try myself after harvest. ;]

This looks sad, Jeroen, cut life (of course with a reason) but it means the end of these stems. The composition is strong with this perspective line. Impressive work!

Love the composition and depth of field!! Wish the was some burning and dodging in the soil to bring out the details a bit. Was it overcast? Love the pure black and white!! Wonderful shot!!!

What I think is that it has an eerie/strange moody quality...almost as if a storm is coming.I have no idea why it makes me feel that, but something about it is quite edgy and slightly disturbing. It has a 'tension' in it.Am I making any sense?LOL.Probably not...I like it a lot,Jeroen. And I wish I could tell you why I feel that way.Sorry.But I hope you will do more like this. It's very artistic, and quite a departure,I think, for you.-M :^)

An excellent photo! Very dramatic... and yes I feel the tension too that Marlene speaks of... like rain is just a moment away or something. It's a beautiful composition with the stalks fading away. Perfect in the black and white! V

Interesting shot. Now you got me curious as to why the corn was cut and left like that? Excellent shot. Aloha
