Description
Still progressing slowly, very slowly with Dmys plugin.
Ive amended the atmos added a misty cloud layer & amended the base terrain formation. Im still stuck at current with a singular material like surface everywhere whilst Im looking at how to blend with control.
The colour gradient was replaced & is repeated on the surface.
This render was done on AA1 GD0 as a test & I reallyliked the balancing boulder captured between the 2 forms. Perhaps the noise of using a lower AA also assists with theoverall effect but should in no way reflect upon any limitations of the plugin. Im just to impatient.
Rendertime = 30 mins.
TFV& Criticisms welcomed.

Strange Woz...but I like this very much as it is..I think the low AA GD has given it something special...personally I would save this one before progressing with the experiment....excellent mistyness and overall effect!!

Thx for the feedback Jeff. Yes, I like the AA1 effect...the overall image reminds me of a 1920`s style that I cant remember the name of. Admittedly at first glance it takes ages for the eyes to focus on whats ctually captured & a good 2 mins looking at the image then starts to register the depth & how the form is as a 3D shape. As for saving....I have about 200mb+ of planets. I now save every hour or so as a different version. So many times Ive lost works in the past :))

You may like AA2 or AA3 even better:) Those settings won`t distort your overhangs, but would clean up some noisyness in the texture.

Looks like very nice shaped terrain.

I have a better render running at AA3 with some additional ambient lighting///more to follow.

This is one of the most interesting renders I have seen in awhile. So, well, keep at it... your doing great!
