Description
Still somewhere in the southwest, although Poly and Gon have decided to return, for Eagle has left... He went home and they are headed to points unknown.... every onward.

Terrain, surfacing, atmosphere are mine. Still working on that overlay of Mayday's. I'll get it yet, am determined to have it work and show right. I've tried every which way and either the surface then gets messed up or it doesn't show enough. Weekends almost here so I might get it down 'pat' no pun intended. :)
Slight levels adjustment sharpening to the terrain and birds, frame and sig all in PSP 9.
A million and one thanks to you all for your continued support and encouragements, hints, tips and tricks. It has helped me grow, and while I don't often make the top 20, I sure as heck am tickled pink by comments from some of the best artists here on Renderosity.

Terrific POV of this great terrain! I really like all the different levels going on in this...great surface colors too! Poly and Gon seem quite pleased that the skies are once again safe for soaring...Marvelous work Pat!!

Just today in early afternoon, I saw two hawks circling overhead near my home. They caused all the other birds to scatter. Beautiful render Pat!!

I am having the same problem getting strata to show up on this terrain I've been working on. I thought I saw Poly & Gon fly by yeasterday. Good luck, I wish I could be of more help.

kind of agree with Markal in some ways...there is a very special mood here...the terrain/pov along with the surfaces and atmo/pw are excellent....if I had to change anything it'd be reduce the sunglow....still this is very excellent!!:)

Can't help with overlays and even though I love these surfaces, especially the strata peeking out and the rocks I wonder if lighter sandy colors - almost straw or white - on the ground, might let the cliffs jump out more. I mean more contrast between cliff and ground surfaces. Excellent work in the sky as always.
