Description

This is another Victorian era gravestone from the London area (as with my last post "Say Hello to Heaven...", I'm not sure exactly which cemetery the shot was taken in). The thing that I wish had been visible on here was the wording on the base of the marker that said "Just Resting" (it's visible on the next frame that also happens to have several large scratches across the faces on it and is pretty much unusable). Once again shot with my Pentax K-1000, using a 70-200mm telephoto lens, on ISO 400 Illford XP 2 film. Photoshop used for the same levels tweak and some dodge and burn, as well as resizing the image for posting. Comments and crits are welcome. Thanks for stopping by and having a look.

As always, a very well done photo. A lot of your work serves as a reminder that humanity has never successfully dealt with death, which I find really strange, since it's been with us forever.

Beautiful capture, an eloquent illustration of the faith the believer is carried by angels to heavens!
