Description

this is one of Peten's very excellent terrains called 'Burning Bridges'(Merci Beaucoup!) just trying some overlay options here, along with the usual 93 other surface layers, i also took the liberty to enhance the sky a little by adding some photographic elements...other pw includes:resize/sharpening/contrast/colour! thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment , advice or critique as these are always welcome and appreciated!!! have a great weekend folks!! inky

It has great possibility--I like the concept, but it feels like the ground seems just a little too flat--the rocks don't have texture like they'd have if they were really extruding from the surface. But like I said, I think it has great potential! Good luck.

Excellent work, looks a little flat (2D) imo, but really perfectly integrated with the grassy stuff and background. I love the depth and what you have done with the sky.

The ground is alittle 2d but is very striking!

I really like the clarity of your overlay. The effect of flatness might disappear at a higher camera setting; but then, you probably would need to post work out the tiling borders. Sky, terrain and surfaces are 'right on'.

I love this overlay. Simply amazing in it's clarity and it fits so well into this scape. Excellent terrain, POV and surfacing. Beautiful soft sky work.

Agree with Steve about the 2D look, but the overlay itself is really eye-catching (maybe some bumpmap on the pebble ovi to give more depth?)

I LOVE THIS INKSTER! Excellent overlay bummer about the flatness but still really brilliant! Your surface colour and overlay match perfectly and I love the look of the green on the distant hills. EXCELLENT sky too. This is really really nice!

Cool overlay usage :) The colors of the water fits the overlay very well, rest of the settings are great! I like your postwork on the atmosphere. Happily not overdone :) So just excellent work, keep it up!

Very Excellent render! overlay are very realistic and well done: to avoid the flat "feels" on the frontside, you could consider to use more negative pitch. P.S. 93 overlay, congratulations!!

Nice one Jason! Aren't Overlays fun! Hint: Overlays work best with a high camera hgt.
