Description
Many, many hours of work to obtain this picture.
Some of the early settings were made with Christianfly (for our 'Tiwinoa' teamwork) but I changed most of all.
The terrain was made with WM 1.25 (size 2049 x 2049).
Final render : 4800 x 3600 pixels (more than 21 hours of rendering !)
Postwork : resize & sharpen.
- Thanks for viewing & comments -
I would especially like all the advices to improve the realism of the render :)

Pretty awesome work, definetely worth all the time and effort :-) I really like the watersettings, great patches! Technically all very well, so I only have some suggestion based on personal preferences, like slightly lighter shadows. The sand looks a bit too white to my taste, but I know that's what you were aiming for so just forget this :0) lol Rocks and bumpy grass surfaces look really good, so does the terrain. Just excellent work!

Water settings are amazing. This is really work well spent. I don't really have much advice. Perhaps the atmosphere could be a little more tropical? or the underwater surfaces could be a little more precise. . .but I'm searching for things that I don't see immediately. I would suggest, do a search for images of Venezuela. There's a place I've been, called Los Roques (I think that's the spelling) which has, I think, exactly the kind of tropical island beaches you're aiming for. Might help, or at least be interesting. Good luck!

Superb detail for such a high altitude ...outstanding work!

An amazing island. Love your surfaces, but would only change the water colors if possible to give the 'white' sand less of a starkness. Beautiful POV and superb light.
Simpleworks
I agree with Bob. Such detail.

Nice laguna, and beautifull colour: About green surfacing, may be that lower high slopes in high altitude could improve the surface variation. Anyway Well done!!

Don't change a thing. I don't know how you got the inner ring of water to look like a coral reef. Can you please explain how you accomplished this image. Thanks.

Superb work, but the drop after the shallow water is pretty steep & frightening!
