Description

I wanna buy you things I can't, I have no money I wanna show you what your love means to me I can't, you won't let me I wanna give you a chance I have, I don't know how many more there are It's all hollow, that's how it feels It's over so fast The connection is skin deep then it's gone It's something special that I want, not just ordinary I want a new set of rules, I want something to change Maybe I give too much of a damn, maybe I don't Is that it? I don't give a damn? Is it me? Do I want too much? Is it need? Is it needed? Apparently not Boring, normal, old is supposed to be fine, no excitement, no fire, is there even a fuse? If there isn't how do I get it back? Where do I get it from and how do I handle it? Everything is slowly destroying me, shutting me down, holding me captive How much time do we have? A minute, day, month What if it was a minute, what would I feel then? What would you feel? What DO you feel? --------------------- So I wrote this and was looking for a pic to go with it. Then this one just seemed to click in place. The yellow eating up the purple flower when teh sun is done with it. Survival of the fitest I suppose. Tx to all for comments and the bee last week! And a big tx to Enmos who taught me about the naughty bees eating through the petal! I dedi this to SQ coz I know that she loves writing and would def give me an honest opinion on my writing :}

Vera, this is really good. When I read the first part, I got the feeling of hitting my head against a brick wall. Then when you decide that enough is enough, you are left empty and full of questions, searching for what brings you back to life and helps you not waste your time. If this is what you intended us to get - then you said it really well! Great poem and really beautiful picture. I LOVE crysanths...

This time, I comment only on the picture (and I'm gonna try to read your poetry thanks to Babelfish translation, but I'm afraid it will not be the best way to read it...): More academical than usual, but very nice indeed. A thing that could be improved is the perceptive quality of the photo. I mean, when decreasing the size of the photo to post on Renderosity, there is a normal loss of quality by decreasing the definition of the digital picture. So you should raise very slightly contrast and saturation, and put a bit of accentuation, to have subjectively back the quality of the original full size picture. Tchuss

You picked up on my worries of the crop. I was in two minds as to lezve the bit of green that was on the left or take it out to add to the effect of the purple getting swallowed by the yellow. I upped the sat of the yellow and lowered the sat of the magenta for effect again to add to the swallowed up feeling. I'm not sure what you mean by the perseptive quality? Suggestions on how to improve that?

A perfect image to accompany such deep, thought-provoking dialog. Purple (a color of the unknown) blossoms being surrounded by yellow (a color of wisdom) blossoms, compounded by the golden frame (squelching even further the elements of the unknown), with the thin black inner frame containing both the purple and yellow elements. YUP! A perfect image for the writings. Quite provocative work my friend, on a very subliminal level. Fantastic writing, photography, and graphic design Vera! You are indeed a "beautiful one!" Have a marvelous day! [Huge hugs]
