Hi, my name is Kim. My husband, Frank (ddaydreams) and I live in the Eastern Sierras, California, USA. We started out working with graphic programs like CoralDraw and Bryce. Mostly with digital artwork. I enjoyed making fractals and incorporating them with other programs, then I started adding artwork to some old photos I had. I use to be more into photography years ago, but never had the money (or time) to pursue it for more then a casual hobby. When the digital cameras became a little more affordable and we saw the ease of use and the things we could accomplish with our graphics programs...... well there you have it! One day Frank said "you ought to post one of your pictures at Renderosity" and the rest is history! Now we have artwork and photos in local galleries, a couple calendars out there, and we are even thinking about publishing a book!Â
And I have to give most of the credit to all the wonderful friends I have met right here on Renderosity!!!! Everyone has been so helpful and encouraging!!!
Thank you for viewing my gallery and check back often to see what progress we are making.

OOOOOH!!! This is sooo cool Kimberly!!! Beautiful light!!!! I love how its divided into different layers like that, with the bright foreground, dark shadowed center, and then the snow-capped mountains. Gorgeous work my friend. Have a wonderful day. #:O)

To write that this is stunning is to demonstrate my lack of command of the English language... this is breath-taking and your eye for natural beauty and composition are equally exceptional. Superb!

Impressive work. Right on with the exposure. Excellent capture of the colors of the moutains in the forground and yet the "snowy", grey, mountains in the background. Superb job. I like this image. My vote. This is a very difficult image to capture.

This is gorgeous. I'm captivated by the mountains yet at the same time... I'm fearful. Does that make sense? I look upon them as deserving large amounts of respect. Just like water... they can kill you if your not careful. Here's the true meaning of "Purple Mountain's Majesty". {{VOTE}}
