Description

Excerpt of live feed from Deep Space Explorer "Hawking" operating near Orion Nebula: "... we discovered this planet excactly 2 hours ago, after scanning the entire system for a week now. It suddenly appeared on our scanners in a wide gap between two planetary orbits. They must have hidden their entire planet! First reports of sensoric and scientific stations decribe a highly industrialized and advanced world, definitly far beyond our technology. Since the planet appeared, we have been scanned several times, but not yet been contacted. We'll start communication within this moment..." "...Silence from down there. They are not answering yet. Almost not, because our active scanning devices are jammed since 30 minutes. So we depend on passive systems like visual..." "...on the above visual you can see a kind facility that seems to be very important. It's dimensions are vast and sensors indicated before blackout, that space is folded around them... One scientist concluded, that it must be a kind of singularity Generator... my good, if the are able to control Black Holes..." "... 1 hour passed. Still silence..." "...something is taking controll of our computer systems. Preparing emergency shutdown..." Transmission Lost. My comments: TERRAIN: 4096x4096 Terraformer with several Terrabrush Terrains and Chaosscape Fractals worked into. IDEA: Got the inspiration for this after watching "Nothing Generator" by terragenetic. Well, Artifact No. 20 and Terra-engineering almost drove me crazy. I hope you like this one too. Comments, critics and/or advise is very welcome. Thanks for viewing and best wishes! :o) Matthias

So beautiful, and so deadly.... Very creative series of yours, and this is one of the best in it. Terrific story text, as well. Hopefully, the crew of the 'Hawking' will survive to explore yet other worlds and anomalies!

Das sieht gigantisch aus! Genial! Nur schade, dass die Suche nach intelligentem Leben sich so schwierig gestaltet. ;-) Klasse Story, du solltest Bher schreiben!
