Description

Dinosaurs were the top of the food chain for centuries before something radical changed. Theories abound, but suppose something major does change and we die out — could dinosaurs make a come-back? Perhaps history played out in a reversal of our own, changing the order of evolution as we know it. Under a distant binary star system dinosaurs may now roam and rule a planet After the Fall of some other civilization... This was the cover for the December 2007 issue of The Fifth Di..., Edition 9, issue 4, online magazine at Sams Dot Publishing and has been nominated for a James B. Baker Award. http://samsdotpublishing.com/fifth/cover.htm Integrated ArtMatic Pro, ArtMatic Voyager, Poser and Photoshop CS with Flaming Pear and Digital Element plugins for post work. Hope you enjoyed this...

Wonderfully done. Colors are georgeous, especially love the water. I personally would stop here other wise there may be a danger of overcrowding the picture. At the moment there is enough to keep you looking without missing anything if you know what I mean? VERY GOOD :)

I love the colors too! The one thing to watch out for is the computer's tendency to draw straight lines where there should be curves--it's lazy! (the dino's tail shows it's polygon origin, as does the puddle in the foreground). You always have to clean up after the renderer;-)

I do like this one much better! Colorful, fanciful and reminds me a bit of Dinotopia! ;)

Well, well, my friend..hehehe...by george, I think you have it...as you go you will find more ways to mix the two programs.. integration of color and shadow matching.. flow of form that pulls the two types of image together instead of seeming separate.. you seem to have skipped to level 2 as you have these under reasonable control..my congratulations on a great first couple of renders with these programs in tandem.. Excellent I'd say........gene
