What better subject for your first shot with the new camera! Looks like good saturation and range here, and great DOF. Guess you'll be keeping the D200, eh?

You had this for a week, and make us wait this long!!!! 'Bout time buddy. I like the way the wide angle made it look. Your first shot has convinced me to get one.Can you notice the difference in how clear Eija is. Against the snow she just stands right out. This premiere of your best friend is a good start. More more....nag...

Oh Oh Oh!!! Wise Angles are fantastic! You can get close and still have a wide view with lots of nice details!!! Wonderful work Z! I would've had Eija on the right of the pic but that's me :} And the quality look excellent. All of the mag's that are coming in here now have D200 vs D5 reviews and all 5 of the mags pit the D5 as the better choice... Interesting really seening as so many ppl have chosen to buy the D200... Hell I would be happy with a D200 over my 350D. But the 350D is more of a ladies camera... I don't wanna look too gay :} Have a wonderful pre-pre weekend day!

She's still (counting Kita and Xavier out) the most precious creature on earth! And of course, you know that you'll always get a fantastic reaction if you upload one of her captures right? Give her a great big bearhug from me will you? Wide angle, huh? That's my next mission (hubby doesn't know it yet wicked laughter) Great shot my friend! And congrats on your new toy! I hope it brings you hours of joy, like mine does me ;0)

Well I must say it's about damn time! I know the little buttons and settings can be a little intimidating at first, but with time like second nature. For your first few photos this is excellent...I know I had a bunch of rubbish for awhile in my excitement to shoot the new cam, but I settled in and now have a better grasp of it..Always a pleasure to see Eija, I bet she can't wait to lay on solid ground instead of this snow~ Aloha buddy!

Wowww...I love how it made the forest look too! Fantastic backdrop of that BLUE and the feathery green leaves which frame your Gorgeous Eija just perfectly. :-) It is a stunning premier and I'm sorry that I got here so late that the red carpet has already been rolled up and put away. Sigh Anyway...it is a beautiful photo and you must be so HAPPY!!! to have this wonderful new camera. :-) V
