Description

With Halloween coming up I thought I would try to do something dark and eerie. The house was modeled in C4D 9.5 and the sky done with the sky plug-in and rendered separately. I used multipass and straight alpha. The trees and bushes are from DOSCH Virtual Trees & Foliage. The corn stalks around the lamp post was done with the hair module using the feathers and a high clump setting. The lightning, Rain, Birds and Lighting were of course done in Photoshop. Modeling and Texturing time was about 14 hours. Render time with Best Setting and Highlight was 48 min. Post work about 1 Hours. I look forward to your comments and hope you enjoy.

Really quite an atmospheric image. I particularly like the lighting of the clouds just above the roofline, offsetting the house nicely. That tower is peculiarly menacing...
