Description
I was out hunting for morels last week and came across one of these. It was around 2ft in diameter. I took a good look at it then high tailed it out of there.
This is as close to what I saw as I can get without spending more time on it. I included some screen shots to show WIP. Modeling and Texturing time was about 6 hours. Render time with best setting GI and background blur was around 12 min. Post work about 30 min.

Excellent job...very realistic...sometimes yellow jacket wasps do build above ground nests just like the black and white hornets!
