Description

Inspired by the 1970's television sci-fi show, "Battlestar Galactica." Rendered with 3D Studio Max 3; post-work in Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Painter 5.5. The large amount of darkness within the image is meant to convey a sense of aloneness. The main ship in the rendering, the Pegasus, has been fighting a stealth battle behind enemy lines for over two years. I hope that artistic ideal was conveyed. (Read the text on the image for a better understanding.) Battlestar and Viper models available for download from my site, BattlestarPegasus.com. 1/1/02 update: Image text fixed, per photographex's kind comment. :-)

The show stunk/stinks. Lots of potential but empty headed produced&directed. However, your image ROCKS!
