Description

Inspired by the world of the sci-fi television show, "Battlestar Galactica." Created with 3D Studio Max; post-work in Photoshop 5.5 and Painter 5.5. The battlestar model (by David Kerin) is available for download at BattlestarPegasus.com. The image is intended to be a somber piece, as the Colonial battlestar Galactica returns to Caprica, one of the Twelve Colonies, in a scene from the pilot episode. The antagonists, the Cylons, have laid waste to the Colonial fleet, as well as the Twelve Colonies. Only the Galactica has survived -- and lives to fight for another day.

MY GOD! This picture is AWESOME! The sad thing is, it seems like most people on this site only want to look at breasts or bright flashy things and gems like this get overlooked. But all I have to say is this is a wonderful image. SHOW ME MORE!!
