it has caustics, fluid simulation, and Gi all in one. sorry about the blotchyness (the photon tuning was set to off) i just dont have enough ram right now to do any better with this immage for some reason. (my first real blender model).
i would like to take a poll too. it is MANDITORY for all who look at this image to respond.
I was wondering how many people who know how to 3d CG were self taught and how many had a teacher (either a friend or class)

Wow you can do that with Blender? Gonna have to check that out. RE: Poll... I have to say that I learned most by reading forums and searching the net for what has been written on a certain subject, so in a way, a little of both.

Nice model, I used to have one of those! I never had a teacher, but I did have the occasional tutorial. Mostly I learn stuff by playing around with things until something interesting happens--then try to figure out what I did ;)

Self taught.I'd be pleased if I could get this much control over the program. Can't wait for the manual to arrive.

you dont actualy realy need the manual, sure it might help, but you can learn blender from internet recources if your willing to take a couple weeks of weeks and teach yourself
