Description

Thsi was the first B&W shot that I tried, I think it was succussful. Again I was paying attention to the POF, DOF and composition. I only edited with levels and brightness - and of course added the frame. It was such a funny day for weather yesterday, it was raining til 6.30am and then stopped and rained at least another 4 times during the day but not drizzle, it poured down. And as we got home from work (5pm) it started to drizzle and Shaz said "look at that rainbow!" and there was a complete rainbow over the valley right in our view. So of course I ran inside and grabbed my cam and started shooting away in the drizzle, then I put my cam away and was watching the rainbow and low and behold a second rainbow started to appear on the outer of the first, it was very faint but it was there... So I ran inside again and grabbed my cam. Oh and while all of this was happening, is was having to chase the monkeys away from my kitten, she was going for them and they were going for her, facing eachother off while each sitting in opposite trees... Drama Drama! Tx to all of the wonderful comments on yesterday's Airstrip. And to all the ppl who viewed, it means alot that you click on and view :}

Beautiful composition and framing. I think that the composition was the main subject and it is perfectly good. The foreground is missing a little bit of sharpness.

I like the depth you've put into this image and you've got a nice range of greys here as well. Not keen on the frame though.
