Description

Had some extra free time with all the holidays so I managed another picture. This picture started out in daylight but I kept darkening the shadows and the setting ended up being a dusk type setting. Background, as usual, done in Photoshop. Thanks for viewing.

Looks awesome! Love the pose and the way her hair flows, very dynamic.

Cool, very dynamic indeed, but not all of the folds are agreeing, jack. Love the thing with the chain(looks familiar though) Once again another cool background. Keep up the good work.

Excellent! I think what RTV ment with the chain it the fact that it resembles Joe Mad!s (he the best ever!!!!)TMNT, the whole image has kinda 'Mad!' feel to it... Outstanding!

You guys are probably right. I used to read a lot of comics and probably picked up that idea from a few images and now it just resurfaced. I also suck at drawing chain, so I "cheated" and motion blurred it. :) Thanks for the comments.

great image man, i agree with RTV about the folds thing though, but one thing i wanted to ask, did you draw the background or is it an edited photo, cuz for myself, im way too lazy too draw backgrounds,.....

I have to say I like how you shaded the leg in the forground, i like the whole thing but that really stands out for me.

The background is all drawn. I start with a simple idea and just dab with the paintbrush until something appears, then inspiration usually takes over :) I also draw it on a seperate, lower layer so if I don't like it I can delete it easily and start over. I experimented with this idea a while back because I just don't like a plain white background and it was easy and allowed more freedom.

very good pic, even if i found some contrast between the pose (seems standing, waiting) and the chain in motion. Very good pencil, same for the colouring and the bkg! go on like this

Wow. What a great sense of motion! And the arched-back pose of her body is done so well! Great work, just great!
