Description

Still practising my wildlife shots when the moment arises. This one a common lizard found in most parts of the UK, they grow to about 6" in length. I have a colony of these living in my garden, later in the year there are always tiny ones scampering about all over the place. A joy to see and they eat garden pests too. For the technically inspired: Canon 30D, Sigma 150mm F2.8, ISO 400, Aperture Priority, F11, 1/200th. size> Many thanks for viewing and any comments left. Richard.

A common lizzie, but not so common shot. An abundance of textures, unusual compo and personality of our cold-blooded model combine to make this a killer photo.
