Description

Is there a such thing as a Tulip Tree? Tis an act of nature that puzzles me The blooms of tulips on tip of branches Shimmer of sunlight only enchances Colors of cream and passionate peach Perfectly placed and just out of reach God took the blossoms off the stem Lovingly stitched along every hem Jewels that glisten on graceful boughs A plain little tree says "Look at me now!" God took the old and made it anew Thank you Lord for the wonderful view! ~;~ The Duck Pond, Ridgewood, NJ ~;~ I've been on this trail so many times and never have seen it. But this is the first time I walked it with my camera. I don't know what kind of tree this is. As I was reaching to pull the branch lower this blossom fell off. Not able to wait until my film is developed I took pics of it with my camera phone. This poem just fell out of my head as I did so. I will be posting the tree itself when I get them back. I hope all who comes by enjoys and has a great weekend. ~ Michelle ~

Too bad when they fall down but still they can attract attention with their beauty that will fade all too soon!

Wonderful whimsical poem Michele. How do you do it? Just fell out of your head? I don't think so... lol. I also had never seen a Tulip Tree, that I'm aware of. Of course, that's not saying a whole lot...heheheh. Hugs from Dave :^)
