Description

They say that this love isn't real, That we don't really know That true love takes maturity And it needs time to grow. They say that we are way too young That what I feel for you Is nothing more than what you feel When meeting someone new. But everytime you look at me When your sweet eyes meet mine I feel this funny flippy thing This quivering inside. I've never felt this way before This 'thing' I'm going through My face gets red,I cannot breathe Just thinking about you. Is this not love, this thing I feel? This constant yearn to be Within your arms,to see your face And keep your company? To need to hear you everyday To ache when we're apart Will they say this was only love When I've a broken heart? It's true that we are very young And time will have it's say But does that really matter now When we have love today? And so, I think it matters not What they may say this is All that I know is that I love To be in love like this. ***** ......puff puff...99!!!...almost there...;^) Hey everyone.Just me,once again, trying to bring you something a little different. This is a photo of my 14 year-old Meg,and her new boyfriend,Jimmy. There was something so sweet and tender here, that it inspired me to write these words.I realise they have a juvenile sound to them, but I wanted it to be as if it was coming from a young girl...I hope that feeling comes across and that you enjoyed reading it...Oh,and I must mention that the original uncropped color photo, was taken by my mother-in-law.This is the result of my playing with it.I think it was worth the effort. As always...TY4L&C!!!You guys are the best!!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Always, Marlene :^)

You're photography is delightful, an exquisite monochrome - not the least helped by two quite beautiful models. The verse fits perfectly with the image and is wonderfully written. Well done m'lady, well done!

A perfect capture of the mood, Marlene. You're an artist of remarkable talent. Reminds me of the Jim Croce line to the effect that even the young can fall in love and feel the same. I guess new love, regardless of age, is kind of nice! :)

Yes, your playing with this photo resulted in something wonderful. The prose you wrote to go with it is special too. Love at this time in ones life seems so overwhelming, when hormones are raging. Perfect tribute to it. Now tell that boy to get a haircut! ;^P

Oh Marlene! How sweet is this?!!!! They could easily be "Romeo and his Juliet!" The hair and bows are timeless. A wonderful portrait by your mom in law and what you have done with it is pure magic! You KNOW I just adore the softness to it and the tones are so perfect. Now for your poem... sighhhhhhhh. Talk about re-awakening those feelings of first love when we are in our teens! You have captured it so perfectly that I thought your daughter must've written this with you! What did she say when she saw it? I bet she LOVED it as we all do! Bravo my brilliant friend. What is NYH? LOL Looks like geniewoman is someone we both know...hehehehehe Huge VOTE for #99...an awesome work!

Awww. Reminds me of a golden oldie song: Romeo & Juliet. (Care to admit you've heard it? WINK). My best to you and yours. T.P.
