Description

This is quite possibly a "one of a kind" aircraft on display at the U.S. Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. The Douglas B-18 was based on the DC-2 transport and was Army Air Corps main "heavy" bomber in the late 1930s. Like many obsolescent types, the B-18 soldiered on in WWII in the Philippine Campaign of '41-42 and was a valuable anti-submarine patrol plane with for both the U.S. and Canadian air forces.

fantastic perspective of shot on this.. and light.. you would love duxford air hangers in the uk.. full of ex ww11 aircraft and various other craft.. excellent :)
