Description
This scene has been in my head for about 3 years, ever since we read "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" by Dylan Thomas in school. It's not quite right yet, I think the old man needs to be a bit more agressive, the lighting needs adjusted, and I want to put him on the edge of a cliff with Death trying to force him off.. but in the mean time.. this is it.

Excellent posing and expression. Eagerly awaiting the finished image.

looks good, steel. i like the concept, and im looking forward to seeing the finished work. you asked for some feedback so here goes: you seem to have posing down pat - same goes for texturing. the lighting and camera could use work. select the main camera and crank the focal length up to about 88 mm. lighting will make or break an image - in my opinion its, hands down, the single most important thing in poser. a good way to learn lighting is actually to start with omni lights. grab the 'illustrender' lighting packs from renderosity freestuff. theres 2 of them. now load the scene, and load the lights one by one and look at how they affect the scene. the changes are quite dramatic. try tweaking the light sets to suit your needs... once you have experience with omni lights, move to spotlights. theyre a lot harder to aim and focus properly, and there are several bugs with the 'point at' feature, so take your time. if you need any help, IM me. cheers, -gabriel
